Very nicely decorated, soft sheets, very good breakfast, very centric location. The staff were very friendly, courteous and helpful, including the bed breakfast staff. And Carmen at the front desk was great! She gave us great recommendations! Freshly squeezed OJ! Good variety of food items. The bed was very comfortable, amazing views from the deck. The spa was fantastic too and it was included. We had daily beverages in our bedroom and snacks and it was included too. We would definitely stay there again. And needless to say, Zermatt was just amazing!

We loved the hotel. The room was amazing, with views of the Matterhorn and staff were always helpful. I would have given a 5 star rating, however, some of the blinds and windows were broken and the room was advertised as the Sky and Stars suite, yet some roof windows wouldn't open and were clearly broken and some of the roof blinds were either missing or broken and unable to open, one of them directly above the main bed.

The hotel is very well located and easy to access from the shuttle station on foot with suitcases. Our room had a terrific view of the Matterhorn. The staff were very courteous and the included breakfast was sufficient. The air conditioning lacked power to cool the room in the heat of summer but it was better than no A.C at all. Would return to the same hotel in the future.

Great location, not so great hotel
I wanted to love this hotel, but found it to be very awkward and in need of a deep clean and paint job, It is very quirky (which I think is part of the appeal) and was confused by the theme. The kitchen in our sweet was kind of dirty and the shower needed a deep clean. The walls are scuffed and you can tell that the people who stay here "use it hard". The air conditioning was very ineffective with the roof being made out of glass. The front desk staff was not very informative as to area hiking and the like. The man who checked us in was very nice and there was a woman at breakfast every morning (Martha or Marcia) who was the best employee/most helpful that we encountered. More helpful than the front desk. I would choose another place to stay should I visit again.

Hotel staff were all fantastic. View of the Matterhorn from the room's balcony. Architecture and art was very interesting and cool. All of that created an amazing experience.

Laura was very accommodating with assisting us getting to the hotel as our flight didnā€™t get into Geneva till 8pm and there was a three hour train ride to get to Zermatt. She arrange our taxi and everything went so smooth. Thank you Laura. Overall great stay and the food was lovely.

Enjoyed our stay here as it was central to downtown Zermatt. The breakfast buffet included was nice and so was the spa access inclusion for guests. The room, was ok. Beds were comfortable. The complaint is in the layout of the room - itā€™s small and there is no privacy from the bathroom to the bedroom which makes it uncomfortable if youā€™re staying with others. The patios are very close to one another and that also makes it very uncomfortable if you have people who smoke staying next to you. The deck outside of our room felt unsafe to be on, it definitely needs to be repaired before someone gets hurt and the room air conditioning was the worst Iā€™ve experienced for the price I payed for the hotel. Otherwise - staff were great, super kind.

What a fabulous hotel. Beautifully designed with great attention to design detail. Superb location, very comfortable rooms. We unfortunately didnā€™t have time to use the spa but it looked lovely. One minor point was that the bath towels were a bit on the small side, which was slightly at odds with the general opulence of the hotel. The staff were charming, capable and friendly.
