Our stay at the hotel was perfect. We had a junior suite, which was ideal for our family of four. The staff was truly outstandingā€”especially the reception staff, who were incredibly friendly. Above all, the breakfast service staff were exceptional. They were polite, humble, gracious, and generous, with no attitude at all. Very hospitable! I would definitely stay here again. The hotel has been newly renovated and has a lot of character. The rooms are beautifully decorated, which left us quite amazed. Our kids loved the books, as the hotel is full of them. Even our room had several books. Just a suggestion: all the books were in French. It would be nice to have some books in English, as my children were overjoyed when they saw the books, but were disappointed when they realized all of them were in French. Not a criticism, just a suggestion

Country luxury lodge in the midst of everything!
This is a spectacular hotel with absolutely the best service. Amazing attention to detail. Even though on the main thoroughfare, stepping thru the doors you feel like you have entered one of the finest lodges or a lovely country estate. Warning: If you open your windows you will be assailed by lots of outdoor noise.

Lovely modern and clean hotel close to the centre of Zermatt. The view from my balcony was amazing. Staff were genuine and made you feel welcome. Spa facilities were wonderful. Unfortunately as there is no aircon, the room warmed up quickly and was stuffy at night. Having the window open solved the stuffiness, but the main street below is very noisy, so not particularly conducive to a good night's sleep. šŸ˜¢

The staff were friendly. The room felt very hot. The one thing that spoiled everything was Around 11 PM somebody just opened the door and walked into the room.i called the front desk to let them know, after that we hardly had any sleep. In the morning i was told that it was a staff member who was trying to drop off the pillow for a guest and happened to walk into the wrong room.even it that was the case, shouldnt they be knocking on the door and not walk into a guest room.for me that story didnā€™t add up.

The hotel itself was just beautiful both outside and inside. It was very clean and had a really warm decor. We sat in the courtyard bar and enjoyed trying different foods from all the various hotel restaurants. The servers were all very nice and informative.

The genuine and caring welcome was just the beginning. Every staff member jumped at the chance to assist in whatever question I would have. The convenience of the property being across the street from the ZĆ¼rich train station while being close to the museum and many dining options helped make my one night visit memorable and wanting for a return visit!

Beautiful & well designed room. Nice terrace bar. Staff was very helpful. Our room was on Bahnhofstrasse so a tad noisy ( narrow street that echos noise well ) but it had a peekaboo view of the Matterhorn so it canā€™t be helped. Breakfast buffet was wonderful. Didnā€™t try the restaurant for dinner. Very conveniently located.
