What a lovely place to stay in ZURICH...!
What a lovely place to stay in ZURICH, so close to the top of the Lake + easy walking distance (12min) to ZURICH HB....The Receptionist was very "Willkommening"...she even liked my panama! I got a lovely room overlooking a large courtyard behind the hotel, with AMAZING tall Plane Trees which made the room lovely and cool - and so pleasant to look into, and in the evening was a great place to listen to the buzz of the diners below. Bed was very comfy, although still a lil jetlagged it was a lovely place to recharge my "batteries" (and those other ones as well!)

Great Location, Not So Great Beds
This is a very charming hotel that is centrally located in the best area of old town Zürich. The rooms have beautiful murals and you definitely feel like you are in Switzerland. The staff is very helpful and friendly. We really appreciated the free water and drinks that the hotel provides. Everything is so expensive in Zürich, so anywhere you can save is great. My main issue with the hotel was the beds. They are extremely firm. I had trouble sleeping and had an aching back from how stiff the beds are. Some people don’t mind this, but I did not care for it. I would not choose this hotel again for that one reason. It’s a shame because everything else about this hotel is great.

This was a great hotel to stay in. The location was excellent, surrounded by restaurants and bars and easy walk to the river and surrounds. The room was great very quiet with the double glazed windows, a great size and very comfortable. We would be very happy to stay there again.

Only 1 night (Sunday) - great location to old town Zurich. Hotel was as advertised. Airport shuttle was good add'l benefit. While we didn't eat raclette there (had our fill elsewhere) - the line was out the door - so must be good. Breakfast Buffet was "typical". Tapas place across the street worth the visit.

Nice location, great restaurant, no view
The location is really good. Close to centre and few steps from Rudolf Tram Station which os connected to everywhere in the city. It's an old building and naturals the toilet is small and it doesn't have any view apart from inner Courtyard view. The best is the restaurant Swiss Chuchi attached to it. It has perhaps the best fondue and Raclette in town, being resident yiu can have reservation to the restaurant from the reception itself since the restaurant is always crowded.

This is my third time staying here . I love Old Town location as well as within 10 minutes walking of Zurich HB. Breakfast is provided which is a nice plus with a fabulous restaurant attached for fondue .

Great Stay, Great Location
Everything about the Hotel Adler was spot on. The service was fine, the ring was very clean and comfortable. Specifically, the climate control worked very nicely. Breakfast was fine, and even the selections on television were better than average. One of the best things about the hotel is its location. It was a10-minute walk to the main train station, and an easy walk along the river to the opera house and art museum. I don’t recall ever seeing a section of any town with this many bars/cafes/restaurants within a stone’s throw from the hotel. I’ll definitely stay at the Adler, again.
