Windhoek

Should you require any transfers from Windhoek airport or from your accommodation in Windhoek to the departure point, please feel free to contact us for a quotation. Arrive at Windhoek Lorry Port by 06:45am for a 07:00am departure with Go2 Traveller Transfer. At the Windhoek Lorry Port, you will depart Windhoek and go north to Okahandja. You will head north out of Okahandja towards Otjiwarongo and Etosha. You will arrive at Otjiwarongo, after leaving the Omatako. Otjiwarongo is a bustling small town based mostly on agriculture and mining, but it also has other industries. It's about a hundred kilometres from Outjo to Etosha Trading Post, where you may take a break and stretch your legs, and then it's another hundred kilometres to Etosha Safari Camp, the renowned Gondwana Lodge with a uniquely Namibian flair. The journey to Etosha Safari Camp will take ca. 5 hours. Arrival at Etosha Safari Camp is ca, 12:00 o'clock.

Etosha National Park

Start your full-day excursion to Etosha National Park about 30 minutes before sunrise. Arrive at reception on time with the following packed essentials—sun cream, sunglasses, hat, binoculars, and camera. This guided tour offers breathtaking wildlife experiences from a comfortable 24-seater game vehicle. Refreshments, snacks, entrance fees, and insurance are all included.

After your thrilling game drive, enjoy a delicious dinner waiting for you upon your return. Then, settle in for the night and rest up for the final day of your amazing journey.

Day 3: Etosha National Park to Windhoek

Etosha Safari Lodge, Gondwana Collection Namibia

After a leisurely breakfast, spend a few hours relaxing. You must be at the reception area by 12:30 in order to make the quick trip back to Etosha Safari Camp. At 13:00pm, the Go2 Traveller Transfers will leave the Etosha Safari Camp.

Etosha National Park

The 421 kilometre drive from Etosha to Windhoek starts out as a serene drive through the countryside before becoming into a lively town as one travels farther inland to the capital. This trip offers a wide variety of scenery as it transitions from the vast, open, white, and almost ashy earth crust to the vast mountain ranges and peaks known as the Khomas Highlands, punctuated by a few basil green, arid thorn-bushes and Tamboti trees. Otjiwarongo, one of Namibia's fastest-growing cities is even larger as one enters the Otjozondjupa Region. The Okanjati Wildschutzgebiet (Okanjati Game Reserve) is passed on the right-hand side of the road leading to Okahandja. The about 360 square km privately owned game reserve is home to numerous bird species, antelope, lions, cheetahs, and even the critically endangered rhinoceros. It is also used to protect hippos. There is a fossilised dinosaur footprint in the park.

Windhoek

The final 47 kilometres leading up to Windhoek are marked by a sharp change from semi-arid farmland and rural communities to urbanised structures and suburban living. As one enters the motorway, they see car sales rooms and even chicken farms. Returning to Windhoek will take about five hours. Arrival time at Windhoek Lorry Port is around 18:00.
