Our guide was very nice. But it was hard to hear her so we didn’t get any description of the sake or anything else. It kind of felt pointless to have a guide since there wasn’t a lot of information given to us during dinner or at the bar. It would probably be better to have a smaller group so the guide can give more info about the experiences to people paying for this tour. Plus, you’re paying for each meal anyways plus the flat fee of the tour, so we felt like it was not worth it. Overall, I would not pay money for this again in hindsight.

From start to finish, the experience was perfectly curated, thanks to our incredible guide, Riku. We kicked off the evening at a cozy local bar. Next we headed to a sake bar. He introduced us to a variety of sake, explaining their origins and flavor profiles with so much enthusiasm and depth. Even as someone who thought they knew sake, I learned so much! The atmosphere was relaxed, and the group vibe was lively yet welcoming, making it easy to strike up conversations. Riku made sure everyone felt included, answering questions and sharing fun facts about Shibuya's nightlife and culture along the way. We wrapped up the night with karaoke, which was an absolute blast! Riku made sure everyone had a turn (or two!) to shine and even joined in for some duets, showing off his fun and laid-back side. It was the perfect way to end the night, laughing, singing, and soaking in the energy of Shibuya. If you're visiting Tokyo, do yourself a favor and book this tour. A must do for those who wish to enjoy the night-life of Shibuya! This tour is one of the highlights during my stay in Tokyo. The guides were very friendly and spoke great English, they were very knowledgeable about the area and were so much fun to drink with. I was lucky enough to enjoy Japanese Izakaya food and alcohol, sang in a karaoke bar and immersed myself in Shibuya's vibrant night-life. I highly recommend this tour for tourists regardless if they speak Japanese or not.
