Know before you book

  • You must present a passport that is valid for a least 6 months following the end of your activity.
  • An additional surcharge of 20 USD per person for the Transit Control Card is payable in cash only on the day of your arrival.
  • An additional surcharge of 200 USD per person for admission to Galapagos National Park is payable on the day of your arrival.
  • An additional surcharge of 5 USD per person each way for ferry transport between Baltra and Santa Cruz is payable on day 1 and day 4.
  • An additional surcharge for taxi service between hotels and restaurants is payable on the day of the activity.
  • 1-star Economy Class accommodation is at Hotel La Peregrina or similar on Santa Cruz Island.
  • 2-star Tourist Class accommodation is at Hotel Fernandina or similar on Santa Cruz Island.
  • You must arrive at Seymour Airport before 11 AM on day 1 and depart after 10 AM on day 4.
  • Pickup is available from Seymour Airport on day 1, and drop-off is available on day 4. Please provide your flight details to arrange transport when you call to confirm your reservation.

What you can expect

Embark on a 4-day excursion to uncover the breathtaking landscapes, tropical climate, and spectacular wildlife that fills the volcanic islands of the Galapagos. Set off on an adventure that includes hiking, snorkelling, and swimming on Santa Cruz and 2 uninhabited islands.

Day 1: Arrival on Baltra, Transfer to Santa Cruz & Tour of the Highlands Upon arrival on Baltra, an English-speaking guide greets you and leads you to Santa Cruz Island. After checking into your hotel, embark on a tour of the Highlands, an area filled with overgrown forest, giant tortoises, and ancient underground lava chambers. .

Days 2 & 3: Visits to 2 Uninhabited Islands Travel by boat from Santa Cruz to 2 of the tiny nearby uninhabited islands—Bartolomé, North Seymour, South Plaza, or Santa Fe. On each day, you're given plenty of time to venture into the outdoors to explore the region's range of wildlife. Scope out blue-footed boobies, marine iguanas, and goofy Galapagos penguins. After lunch, strap on snorkelling gear to discover friendly sea lions, colourful fish, and spotted turtles before heading back to Santa Cruz.

Day 4: Transfer to Baltra & Departure After checking out of your hotel, make one final stop at the former underground magma chambers of the Twin Craters before returning to the airport to catch your departing flight.
