Sigiriya Lion Rock
This world historical monument located at Mathale District of Sri Lanka. According to the Sri Lankan history, the king Kashyapa created this Lion's rock for hide from his brother's attacks. After the king's death the Sigiriya named as a Buddhist monastery until 14th century
Pidurangala Rock
According to ancient chronicles, Prince Kashyapa had killed his father King Dhatusena and fled to Sigiriya to find out a more secure place to prevent retaliation attacks from his half-brother, Mugalan. With the arrival of King Kashyapa, the Bhikkus who were meditated there were requested move to the nearby Pidurangala

Hakgala Botanic Gardens

Yala National Park
Situated in Sri Lanka's south-east hugging the panoramic Indian Ocean, Yala was designated a wildlife sanctuary in 1900 and was designated a national park in 1938. Ironically, the park was initially used as a hunting ground for the elite under British rule. Yala is home to 44 varieties of mammal and 215 bird species
Udawalawe National Park
Originally, the national park was created to provide a sanctuary for wild animals displaced by the construction of the Udawalawe Reservoir in 1972. The reservoir, surrounded by open plains and foothills, is continuously replenished by River Walawe that draws its waters from the central highlands
Nine Arches Bridge
The Nine Arch Bridge, also known as the 'Bridge in the Sky' was constructed by connecting two bog mountains when constructing the Badulla – Colombo railway. This bridge is 300 feet in length, 25 feet in width and 80-100 feet in height. It is one of the best examples of colonial-era railway construction in the country
