Activity itinerary

Schlossturm

Beautifully situated on the Rhine, this is not only a very popular place for photos and also for tasting various drinks in the evening hours, but one of the most important places in Düsseldorf. You will learn the funniest stories about the Rhine, the old castle and neighbouring corners and, if you want, much more. An absolute must for every visit to Düsseldorf! However, we do not go inside the castle tower itself, which is also not necessary. Inside are maritime exhibits and a café.
Radschlagerbrunnen (Pass by)
An absolute classic, also located on the Rhine. Find out what it's all about and why cartwheels are as much a part of Düsseldorf as Altbier, carnival and millionaires ;)
Uerige
  • 30m
An absolute must for Altbier fans and those who can become one. Impressive brewery with plenty of history and all sorts of Rhenish peculiarities. The visit depends on the taste of each group.
Hoppeditzdenkmal
  • 10m
As the fifth season, an absolute highlight for the entire Rhineland, this place is symbol and history in one. A visit to the monument is possible depending on your interests.
Stadterhebungsmonument
  • 10m
Another key classic and a remarkable monument with attention to detail. If necessary, I tell the short version or, in absurd detail, the storey of how Düsseldorf became a city.
Brewery im Füchschen
  • 30m
In addition to a beautiful indoor and outdoor area, lots of history and atmosphere, you can taste the delicious Alt, non-alcoholic and even a real Düsseldorf Pils.
Ratinger Tor
  • 5m
Countless myths and legends surround this gate and Ratinger Straße. I tell the funniest of them and do away with the typical "tourist stories".
Retematäng Bar/ Café/ (Eck)Kneipe
  • 30m
A place where history meets modernity, with contagious Rhenish joie de vivre. There are some Düsseldorf specialities here that you don't get everywhere. Definitely worth a visit.
Jan-Wellem-Reiterstandbild
  • 5m
Perhaps the craziest prince in Germany. The absurdities you will hear will surely exceed your wildest expectations. Adjacent is the town hall and some other sights.
Kunsthalle Dusseldorf
  • 5m
  • Admission ticket not included
"Der Bunker" was perhaps rightly criticised at one time or another because of its appearance. However, the Kunsthalle, with its exciting to absurd history, belongs on most of my guided tours. At least the view from the outside with the striking "stove pipe" of our probably best-known artist.
St. Lambertus Church
  • 5m
The "Leaning Tower of Düsseldorf" is of course a classic. Find out why it's really crooked and the funniest theories about it. In addition, there is one or the other worth mentioning.
Saeulenheilige Fremde
  • 5m
It's only a stone's throw away from St. Lambertus and has already frightened one or the other tourist in the evening hours ;)
Burgplatz
  • 10m
A central square in Düsseldorf from which everything is easy to reach. There's so much to tell, so I'll narrow it down to the most interesting stories.
Kirche St. Andreas
  • 5m
Not just an architectural eye-catcher. There is an amazing storey or two about this. The cannonballs that are obviously there are not even the most interesting thing.
