On March 25, while visiting Sydney, we took the Blue Mountain tour including Scenic World and Featherdale Wildlife Sanctuary. This excursion , booked through Viator, was provided by Chapman Tours. We were initially pleased with the response from the owner, in verifying the details of the reservation but it was our tour guide and driver, Sean, who made this tour so memorable. He kept us highly amused throughout the whole trip, but his organizational skills were the best we have ever seen. He deliberately had the timing so fine tuned that we were able to beat the crowds and traffic everywhere we went. In addition, the included activities, were terrific. The Blue Mountains are lovely as is the rainforest seen in the Scenic World activity and the wildlife sanctuary gave us a chance to interact with koalas, kangaroos, wombats, wallabies, and many other native animals. This included hand feeding the kangaroos and wallabies. This is a tour definitely worth taking and provided by an incredible guide and tour company.

We were lucky enough to have Amy as our tour guide and driver. She was incredible from start to finish. We started right on time. The bus held about 20+ people and looked to be new. Only down side of the bus, is if full, someone (like us) has to sit in a seat with a wheel well which is not great for long rides. The breakfast stop was nice and we had egg sandwiches. Lunch was also good. We had rainy weather heading into the mountains so could not see much. The ride on the worlds steepest railway was fun. We stopped at a waterfall, while nice there were too many buses and people to make the stop enjoyable. The last stop was at the wild life park. This too was good as it allowed us to see native wildlife and get great photos. This ride is not for those with mobility issues. We highly recommend.

The time spent on an animal zoo, the last part of the tour, was too long, and completely unnecessary, while the time in blue mountains was wonderful but not long enough.

We were lucky enough to have Sean as our tour guide and driver. He was incredible from start to finish. Sean really made you feel like he personally cared about both your experiences de as well as representing Australia well. He started at 6:30 picking us all up on time. Everyone was warmly greeted with the process clearly explained. As we headed out to our first stop, Sean delighted us with stories about the locations and life in Australia and even memories from his own childhood. He and the owner, Chappo, were rightfully excited to share their recent award for being the top tour company. We even had a film crew there capturing it for a national show. Food was included and everything was well organized and tasty. No typical box lunch here! The blue mountains and waterfalls and rides all exceeded expectations. You have plenty of time to enjoy them and take great pictures. Keep in mind that the wild life park has most of the animals in open cages. It is mostly not interactive. But you do see all the expected species. You walk away loving Australia even more. Sean gets even higher marks than the app allows. High recommend.

Extremely pleased with the service of the tour and our guide Sean (hope I spelled his name correct). He was well informed, interesting and accommodating. The weather was not at all good so the scenic views were missed. Love the breakfast especially for an early morning start and the lunch was great. Would highly recommend this company and tour guide Sean.

CHAP0 (owner of Chapman tours) was our guide. Turned a rainy day at the mountains into a bit of sunshine with jokes and historical stories. We rode multiple trams but unfortunately only got a few waterfall glimpses. Did not get to see the mountains but guide had no control of the weather. Stopped for breakfast and lunch and appreciated the small group friendship.

It's a very early start but don't worry, this tour includes both a very good breakfast and lunch. However do worry about the weather and come prepared! I'd guess more than 50% of our group purchased rain gear and/or sweatshirts at our first stop in the mountains, and it seemed time for this was built in to the tour. Finally, wearing my less fashionable but waterproof sneakers for a month long trip paid off! Don't let the prospect of bad weather stop you, check the forecast and know you can rebook or cancel up to 24 hours pre departure if it looks really bad, but the forest in the clouds was magical. I traveled on Saturday, March 8 and our guide was excellent. He only does tours on Saturday because he's a teacher. I wish I'd noted his name, but hopefully the company knows who took the tour out that day and will credit him with a well deserved very positive review. With only two full days in Sydney, I'm glad I took this tour.
