Stop 1: Parmigiano Reggiano experience
Visit a Parmigiano Reggiano Factory and get to see the entire production of the king of cheeses, how it’s made, the different phases of the process and visit the impressive room where they store and age thousands of wheels of Parmigiano Reggiano. Taste different ages Parmigiano Reggiano and other cheese made in the “caseificio” like fresh ricotta..
Stop 2: Local Winery and Aperitivo/Lunch
Visit a winery in Bologna hills, get to know local grapes of Emilia Romagna region and taste some glasses of wine. Every glass of wine you taste is served with tigelle, local focaccia, regional charcuterie and cheeses.
Stop 3: Discover Aceto Balsamico Tradizionale di Modena DOP
Last stop of the tour is to discover the black gold of Modena: visit an old Acetaia, get to know the process of Balsamic Vinegar, the differences between IGP and DOP and sample several bottles (12 and 25years old), also on top of Gelato!
