Activity itinerary

Plaza Cuartel

A National Historical Site, Plaza Cuartel is a restored ruin of an old garrison where, in the evening of December 14, 1944 Japanese soldiers burned around 150 American prisoners of war in a tunnel found beneath the park's portals, which now stands as a grim reminder of World War II atrocities. The remains of those who died were buried at St.Louis Country, Jefferson Barracks, National Cemetery, Missouri, U.S.A in 1952. Only I prisoners survived to tell the storey..
Binuatan Creations

Puerto Princesa City Baywalk Park
  • 30m
Puerto Princesa Baywalk used to be a slum area where informal settlers resided. The local government turned the place into a park and provided resettlement for the residents. The residents were given livelihood as they were allowed to sell food and drinks in the baywalk.
Palawan Wildlife Rescue and Conservation Center
  • 30m
  • Admission ticket included
Welcome to Palawan Wildlife Rescue and Conservation Centre! Be our guest and be in awe with your close-up encounter with 2 species of crocodiles in the Philippines, and learn amazing information about them. Aside from these exciting activities, guests are also encouraged to take a walk with nature in the 4-hectare Nature Park, home to the rescued endemic species in Palawan, the wild flora and a vast and diverse species of rare birds.
Immaculate Conception Cathedral
  • 30m
  • Admission ticket included
On March 10,1872, six days after the Spanish expedition arrived in Puerto Princesa, the first mass was celebrated by the Rev. Fr. Exequiel Moreno in the same place where the cathedral now stands. He later erected the parish under the patronage of Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception. It took almost a century though before the present cathedral was built, in 1961, under then Bishop Most Rev. Gregorio Espiga. The interesting angular structure departs from the conventional religious architecture of most churches in the country.
Iwahig Prison and Penal Farm
  • 30m
  • Admission ticket included
This unique “prison without bars” was established by the Americans in 1904. The inmates tend vast farms instead of idly spending time behind bars. Baker's Hill
  • 30m
  • Admission ticket included
As the name implies, it is home to one of PPS’s muste-taste: Baker’s Hill Hopia/Jopia. Well apart from their hopia, every food they sell is really addictive! Their pastillas really brought out my sweet-tooth! If you come here, make sure to allocate a generous budget for food because the place just makes you want to eat, and eat, and eat! Apart from their food and restaurant, their landscaped gardens and playground makes it perfect for a family hang out. They too have the astounding Pheasant peacock! :)
Mitra Farm
  • 30m
  • Admission ticket included
Rancho Sta. Monica, popularly known as Mitra’s Ranch, used to be a private property. They’ve long been opened to the public from 6AM-6PM. It is among the must-see of PPS because this gives you an astonishing view of Puerto Princesa City There are lots of activities in the area like trampoline, horse back riding, and zip lining!
Viet Ville Restaurant

  • Admission ticket included
Viet Ville used to be home to nearly 2,000 Vietnamese refugees who sought asylum in the Philippines. Today it’s a rare stop for tourists who come to see its decaying remains—and want to sample Vietnamese food at the village’s only restaurant.
