What you can expect

Join a walking tour of Garden of the Gods, a city park in Colorado Springs featuring soaring red sandstone rock formations, many dating back more than 300 million years. Learn how the rocks were sculpted through time by the forces of nature and were given descriptive names like “Kissing Camels”.

Meet your tour guide at the park and take one of the many winding trails that lead you to towering rock formations. Follow your guide to the park’s most popular attractions, like Three Graces, Cathedral Spirals, and the perfectly named Kissing Camels.

Learn about the ancient geological history of the area from your local guide as you take in sweeping views from a number of overlooks. Along the way, you may even get to see some Colorado wildlife.
