Spain is the largest producer of olive oil in the world and 80% of Spanish total production is in Andalusia. The history of olive oil in Spain spans to 6,000 years ago when it appeared with the Phoenician and Greek settlers.

Together we´ll discover the mountain olive groves of the Sierra de Córdoba; one of the most virgin landscapes of the Mediterranean. Dry olive groves surrounded by cork oaks, pines and mountain species in full harmony with the native fauna and flora.

Our team leaves Cordoba to take a 40min drive up to the village of Villaviciosa, where Antonio Valenzuela “Valen” waits for us at his farm. Guided by Valen we take a walk through the mountain olive grove learning about the different varieties of trees, observing the purity of the soils and biodiversity.
