A bizarre and eye opening tour. Bring a beer and expect to get your mind blown. Take the dinner option, it's delicious! A truly unique Osaka experience with twists you'll never expect. Recommend!

Very stark, but incredibly interesting tour. The guide was outstanding and very honest. The variety of stops was great and at all times relevant. It showed a side of Japanese society rarely seen, disturbing at times, but always interesting. I would encourage tourists to take this tour for the educational aspects it shows.

This was a unique experience led by a colorful and informative guide (Barry-we think!) we visited parts of Osaka that are not often listed in the guidebooks-down narrow alleyways and through various shopping districts. Along the way we sampled authentic Osakan street food and learned about the history of some of the marginalized communities, and how they make their lives work in difficult situations. We ended the evening at a great restaurant and filled up on all sorts of delicious food and good beer. Even though we walked through neighborhoods that some might consider sketchy, we never felt unsafe.

The guide was great, I really enjoyed his insight and he was very funny. The tour itself was interesting, but is not worth the price particularly when free walking tours are doing pretty much the same thing. Also, the dinner is not worth 15 extra dollars. You get 2 chicken wings, miso, rice, 2 small pieces of tempura and a tiny slice of omelette. If I forgot something, it’s because it was that unforgettable. (drink is extra)

Very fun tour. We learned a lot and enjoyed the guide and the other travelers. Highly recommend to see a different side of Japan and Osaka. One thing to note: this tour includes standing/walking for 3 hours straight and the dinner (which I recommend) is after the 3 hour tour. Still worth it but our feet were dying by the end after having already done a lot of walking that day.
