On this guided, narrated walking tour, you will experience and learn about the significance of the small town once separated from Baltimore. During the tour, you will stop to sample specially made dishes at unique family owned restaurants. After finishing, you will be able to truly appreciate the heritage, history, and local food of the area. Your culinary adventure may include the following specialities: Authentic Polish and Eastern European cuisine Traditional Baltimore style pit beef Local seafood specialities Spanish Tapas The neighborhood's best dessert and cocktail combination Experience Baltimore's storied past! Join us as we bring you through a town of narrow rowhouses, cobbled streets, and fantastic local cuisine, encapsulating three centuries worth of charm. See what makes this former port town so unique and delicious. All dishes served are included in the tour. Enough food is served that for most participants, dinner afterwards will not be needed. The tour was very informative as a Marylander I learned alot. Mary Margaret really gave us a review as a resident but really knows the area and first hand knowledge of all the places we visited. My only remark is you need to update the info as the food we had was nothing like you have listed . Great time still and I'll recommend to others local or abroad.

We loved the enjoyable conversations about the area with people on tour, and our guide. The food was great and we were never rushed. Mary Margaret is a treasure for the Baltimore area! My only complaint is that you needed to be right next to her in order to hear some of the conversation, and that's hard while walking or in a group. She has great stories and info to share: you don't want to miss a thing!
