Overview

  • We will visit the exclusive garden of Villa Gamberaia considered as the only example of a floating garden in Europe.

  • We will visit the ancient Roman city of Fiesole and and enjoy a breathtaking view of Florence.

  • We will have lunch at one of the most famous and good restaurants in all of Florence.

After a short presentation by our local guide Pietro and general briefing of the tour we set off!
The exact starting point will be chosen to be as close as possible to your hotel. If you are staying outside Florence, no problem!
We have a shuttle available that will pick you up and take you back directly to your accommodation.

The Tullio restaurant, located in the immediate vicinity of Fiesole, is considered by many Florentines to be the best trattoria in Florence.

The villa is famous for the unique design of its gardens, originally designed by Zanobi Lapi and his nephews in the first half of the 17th century and preserved to this day with few major changes. According to Edith Wharton, Gamberaia was "probably the most perfect example of the art of producing a great effect on a small scale".
