What you can expect

Depart and head to the elegant seaside resort of Antibes to marvel at the luxury yachts in Europe's largest marina at Port Vauban. Take time to discover the provencal market in the old town (Tuesday to Sunday)

Continue along the coast road to the famous town of Cannes. Follow in the footsteps of the rich and famous at the Boulevard de la Croisette. Admire the beautiful waterfront buildings, including the Palais des Festivals et des Congrès where the Cannes Film Festival takes place.

Next, go to the beautiful village of Saint-Paul de Vence to see the historic ramparts that encircle the charming alleys, and then join the locals on the main square of the Grande Fontaine. Get some free time for lunch before going to the stunning Gorges du Loup in the mountains of Provence.

Explore the medieval village of Gourdon, perched on a cliff overlooking the valley of the River Loup and all the French Riviera.

End with a visit to the town of Grasse, where you can learn more about the history of perfume at the main perfume Factory.

: Very nice walk, where you get to see a lot of the area. Drove on many small local roads, and then saw more than if you had driven on highways. Started in Antibes, had a little time in Cannes, but had a suitable time in wonderful St.Paul de Vence. We drove up the mountain to the picturesque Gourdon before we traveled to Grasse with a very good tour of Fragonard, where we also learned about how to smell perfumes. Very funny. Also had a nice "bonus stop" at a confectionery factory. Highly recommend this trip. Very nice and knowledgeable guide.

Do not expect tours with informative guides. If you book an English speaking tour, in France, the English skills will be very basic. Expect bus drivers with some scant knowledge

Great tour!: We saw and experienced a lot that day. Fragonard was a very interesting stop, but there was little to see from Grasse itself, Gourdon and St. Paul de Vence are charming towns and therefore highly recommended. For Cannes and Antibes the time was unfortunately very short, but the lunch break was a bit too long (our guide had to go back to Nice and pick up other guests).

Our tour guide Isa was excellent.. can't find any better tour guide. she loves her job, she is very helpful. Its not enough whatever accolades she can have from all of us and other tourist, simply best best Best. Also, Startour is very nice company, nice clean car. We really enjoyed the tour route, planning, clean new van and one of the best tour guide ISA we had. it was best experience we had & all travellers were happy and they will write same or more praising Isa and this tour. We are very happy. Abd this is honest opinion and review so others know.

Wonderful places, but wrong times: The excursion was supposed to last 9 hours, but after 8 hours and 15 minutes we were already at the hotel. In Gourdon, where we arrived at lunchtime, we had so little time (45 minutes) that we had to choose whether to have lunch or visit the town and had to have sandwiches while walking. If it had lasted 9 hours in Gourdon we could have had the right time to have lunch and visit the city
