What's included, what's not
Know before you book
- Children 17 and younger must have a parent's or guardian's permission. Children 12 and younger are not allowed to dive.
- If you are 65 or older, you must see a qualified doctor for a medical assessment prior to scuba diving.
- You must weigh less than 130 kg for the helicopter ride. Helicopter scenic flights are weather permitting.
- Due to altitude, you may not fly within 24 hours of participating in this activity. Please plan accordingly
- All divers must complete a Queensland Medical Questionnaire prior to diving, this questionnaire can be completed onboard.
- You must be PADI certified to participate in the Certified Diving package.
- Check-in is from 7.15am to 7.45am at Reef Fleet Terminal, 1 Spence Street, Cairns. Please make your way to the Down Under Cruise and Dive counter to check-in. Boat departs at 8am sharp and returns at 4.30pm.
- Certain medical conditions (e.g. asthma, heart disease, diabetes) and ANY prescription medications will require a letter or email from a doctor clearing you to dive. Must state your full name, the doctor's name, practice and the clearance to dive.
- Languages spoken onboard: English, German, Japanese and Chinese Mandarin.
