Was a very long day and excellent viewing of wildlife and coastland around Melbourne. Penguins were malting season when we went so we're not plentiful.

Great experience! Our tour guide had a friendly aussie banter personality which matched the overall vibe of our group. Penguin parade were definitely the highlight of the tour however very disappointing when people around us kept standing up and on the phones despite being told by staff to sit down and phones away.

Lots of time on a coach and our driver literally talked at us every second of the day very loudly down the speakers. It was not relaxing at all and was actually quite stressful! He wouldn’t turn the speakers down and honestly his stream of consciousness was exhausting. One of the stops we didn’t make and given how long we were on the tour, the stops we did make were rushed. The moonlight sanctuary really wasn’t great- not much there and by the time we got there all of the talks and interactions were over. We didn’t get to see the seals at all, the driver just didn’t make that stop. Dinner was rushed- we got 45 minutes and the beach stop was 5 minutes. The penguin parade was fine but in general admission- we literally saw about 6 people goons come out of the sea- they were all up the other end of the beach where the VIP stand was and it was a huge anti climax. Honestly just not a good day. Would not recommend! More time at the beach, more time for food and less time at a sub rate ‘sanctuary’ and please tell your driver to stop bloody talking!!!

Long day but Robert was an excellent guide and driver. Amazing scenery. Time allowed for lunch and dinner a bit short for Australia’s busy Labor Day weekend. The eco tour BUS WAS A HUGE FAIL. Already full with cramped quarters, the AC FAILED before we even got to Twelve Apostles. The remaining hours of the tour — Robert and the scenery were great — were the most miserable we’ve experienced touring anywhere. Very hot in that crowded little bus. When the outside temp is hot, bringing outside air in doesn’t do much. I don’t blame Robert for this. TripAdvisor reviews indicated others have had AC failure on this tour so it sounds like a bus issue.

This is an amazing tour that climaxes with the penguin march at dusk. In addition to the incredible viewings we had the BEST tour operator and driver in Luke Bennett. He engages everyone.

Pros: absolutely amazing day. The sanctuary was the coolest experience and got to feed all the animals (kangaroos, wallabies, etc). The penguin exhibit was also a moment to cry with happiness. Got video of some teenage penguins coming out of their burrows. Just exceptional!! Cons: driver was over an hour late with no communication from the office until we called. Don’t know if we missed the bus or not. The driver was quiet and rather introverted and when she did speak over the intercom on the bus, we couldn’t hear here her. The bus ride is long so be prepared with water and snacks for the journey. Overall well worth the day if you haven’t seen what Australias wildlife has to offer!

This was a fun tour. Our guide was lively and helpful. It was good to stop at several places on the way to Philip Island. The Moonlit Sanctuary was great - only wish we had gotten there earlier so we could get tickets to pet the koalas. The dinner and ice cream was delicious. The tiny penguins were the highlight of the tour.

Driver was great and explained each area with things to do there. There is adequate time in each area you go to except Cowes. This area should be half hour longer so people can explore after dinner. Best part is seeing the penquin’s up close and coming out of the water. Overall I would recommend this tour to everyone. Its worth it.
