Petrovaradin is a fortress built on a rock on the Danube. It was built in 1692 and completed in 1780. It guards the Danube. It is the earliest symbol of Novi Sad and is called "Gibraltar on the Danube." There have been many wars in history. In 1948, it was listed as a nationally protected historical site. In addition to visiting the clock tower and overlooking the Danube in the fortress, you can also visit the museum in Novi Sad. On the viewing platform of the Petrovaradin Fortress, you can overlook the entire city of Novi Sad.
Sremski Karlovci
  • 3h
The full name of the wine town is Sremski Karlovci, only eight kilometres from Novi Sad. Historically, this is the historical, cultural, economic and political centre of Vojvodina. After World War II, due to the policy of national strategic development, Novi Sad in the north got a huge take-off, the centre of Vojvodina began to move to Novi Sad, and Sremsky Karlovci changed. It's a lot quieter, but the winemaking craftsmanship that has been preserved hundreds of years ago has moved to the world from here . There are many famous wineries. One of the wines produced by the Bermet winery was once selected as a special offer to the famous Titan Nick.
