What you can expect

Your experience begins as you are collected from your centrally located hotel in Galle, Unawatuna, or Mirissa. Following a meet and greet, proceed to the Udawalawe National Park. Upon your arrival to the Udawalawe National Park, you'll spend a thrilling 3 hours taking a safari onboard a Jeep.
The Udawalawe National Park is one of the best places in Sri Lanka to see wild elephants. An Asian elephant herd consisting of no less than 400 of the animals is permanently residing in the park. The area is capable of sustaining large numbers of elephants, which is primarily thanks to its abundant water sources.

Hundreds of elephants annually migrate to the park from nearby protected areas as well. Following your safari, your experience ends as you are transferred back to your hotel in Galle, Unawatuna, or Mirissa.
