Overview

Cook Island, a short boat trip from the Gold Coast, is an accessible and appealing dive site for all experience levels. A colourful and interesting mix of reef and pelagic fish call Cook Island home: pufferfish, gropers, surgeonfish, anemonefish, leatherjackets, parrotfish, trevally, bullseyes and sweetlips are some of the most common residents. Photographers will find plenty of photogenic subjects, with nudibranchs, stingrays, turtles, wobbegongs and even leopard sharks over summer.

  • Infants are required to sit on an adult’s lap
  • Not recommended for travellers with poor cardiovascular health
  • Not recommended for pregnant travellers

  • Travellers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness

  • All participants will be required to complete a health questionnaire prior to diving. Some pre-existing medical conditions (i.e. asthma, heart conditions, etc) may prevent you from diving, please consult your doctor prior to booking if you have any severe medical conditions.
  • Our Try-Scuba trip requires no licence or prior experience
  • Children must be accompanied by an adult
  • Diving within 48 hours of flying is not recommended.

Please Note: If you do not hold an Open Water Certificate that is ok. One of our instructors will dive with you.
