This experience is based on making use of sports and recreational skills by walking the riverbed in the direction of the stream (downstream), usually on some type of boat or raft. Usually the rivers that are navigated have some degree of turbulence, these are also called white water rivers

The most common boats that are used are the raft, canoa or kayak, which can be rigid or inflatable. Throughout the activity we will be accompanied by a professional expert in the activity.

Activity itinerary

Midday rafting in Mendoza offers an exciting combination of adventure and nature. We will navigate the Mendoza River, the mountain village of Potrerillos, surrounded by beautiful landscapes and the imposing dam. Participants receive all the necessary equipment, including life jackets, helmets and paddles. Afterwards, the guides will give a safety talk and explain basic rafting techniques. Once prepared, the group will head to the river, where the rafting adventure will begin. The tour usually includes rapids of different levels, which provide both challenges and fun for the participants. Along the way, professional guides ensure that the experience is safe and exciting, directing the boat and giving instructions.
