Head to Kualoa Ranch and journey through the world-famous valley of Kaa'awa, where more than 50 Hollywood blockbuster films and television shows have been filmed—an area known as the “Hawaii back-lot.”
Established in 1850, Kualoa is a 4,000-acre working cattle ranch stretching from steep mountain cliffs to the sparkling sea. Located on the northeastern side of Oahu in the Hawaiian countryside, it's just 22 miles from Honolulu. The ranch terrain varies from dense rainforest to broad open valleys, and from beautiful white-sand beaches to verdant cliff faces. It's truly a paradise for outdoor recreation.
If the views look familiar, it's because Kualoa has been the site of many television shows and Hollywood films. So many, in fact, that it's become known as Hollywood's “Hawaii back-lot.” On this tour you get an up close and personal view of backdrops from films like Godzilla, Jurassic Park, Windtalkers, 50 First Dates, Pearl Harbour, and many more.
In addition to your tour into the valley, you will visit an authentic World War II bunker containing even more film memorabilia, artefacts, and exhibits.
