Overview

Defy gravity and hover over the Stellenbosch winelands in a hot air balloon. Depending on the wind direction, you will drift towards the Paarl or the Stellenbosch countryside but still get splendid views of the entire winelands' terrain and the kilometre high Table Mountain from either side. With nobody knowing the landing location! We will keep in touch with your pilot to arrange your pick-up at the end of the balloon flight. After the inclusive breakfast, the tour will go straight into Stellenbosch for an orientation of one of South Africa's most historic towns before carrying on to Lanzerac wines, Delaire Graff wine and Franschhoek. The wine tastings will vary between southeast facing and southwest facing grape varietals of both the Banhoek and Franschhoek valley. In the end, your tour will travel for an hour back to Cape town past the Drakenstein Correctional service where you may take a picture with a life size bronze sculpture of Nelson Mandela before drop off at your hotel.
