Description
Discover the amazing world of Japanese kitchen knives on a unique Asakusa tour. Our guide will provide candid advice to balance the sales pitch of each store clerk as you tour the stores. For groups of three or more, we offer an earphone guide system. You'll also enjoy a selection of Japanese sweet snacks!

During the tour, you'll learn about the origin of the Senso-ji Temple and the folklore and stories intriguing to children. We'll also visit the Asakusa Culture Tourist Information Centre, Kaminarimon Gate, Nakamise Shopping Street, Hozomon Gate, the 5-story pagoda, and experience paper fortune-telling (omikuji), incense burning, the water purification fountain, and the main hall at Asakusa's Senso-ji Temple. Our guide will demystify the giant lantern at Kaminarimon Gate and show you where to buy souvenirs if you are interested.

After the magnificence of Senso-i, we'll escape into the Rokku area: Asakusa's traditional entertainment district, always bustling yet rarely busy. Walk through the Meiji period into the present day – with stops along the way for more Japanese sweet snacks.
