Departure: At 10:00 AM, Start our day from Kathmandu. , embark on a scenic drive to the Shiva Statue, which is located near Sanga, around 20 kilometres east of Kathmandu. This colossal statue of Lord Shiva stands at an impressive height of 44 metres, making it one of the tallest statues of Shiva in the world. A day trip from Kathmandu to Namobuddha and the Shiva Statue offers a captivating blend of spiritual exploration, cultural immersion, and natural beauty
Explore Shiva Statue: Spend some time exploring the Shiva Statue complex, which includes a temple and a serene park. Climb the stairs to the top of the statue, where you can enjoy panoramic views of the Kathmandu Valley and the surrounding hills.

Then we drive to Namobuddha
Lunch: Enjoy a traditional Nepali or Tibetan meal at one of the local restaurants near Namobuddha. Savour the flavours of momo (dumplings), dal bhat (lentil curry with rice), or other regional dishes. Lunch: Local Cuisine
Thrangu Tashi Yangtse Monastery: Visit the Thrangu Tashi Yangtse Monastery, adjacent to the stupa, to witness Buddhist rituals, prayer flags, and intricate artwork. You can also interact with the resident monks and learn about their way of life.
Namobuddha Stupa: Arrive at Namobuddha, a sacred Buddhist pilgrimage site located atop a hill. The main attraction here is the Namobuddha Stupa, a serene and spiritually significant place where it is believed that Lord Buddha, in one of his previous lives, gave his body to a starving tigress and her cubs. Explore the beautiful stupa and the peaceful surroundings while taking in the tranquil atmosphere.
Evening: Return to Kathmandu
Return to Kathmandu: Head back to Kathmandu in the late afternoon, reflecting on your day's experiences and the spiritual and cultural insights gained from visiting Namobuddha and the Shiva Statue.
