Stroll through the annual exhibition (May to November) and the Abbey Museum (Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays), where history and culture come to life. Take in the breathtaking panoramic views from the Abbey’s windows, overlooking the Danube River and extending towards Vienna.

For an even deeper insight, upgrade your ticket to include a guided tour. Choose from a variety of thematic tours, available in German, with an audio guide provided in 14 languages. Guided tours operate at the following times:

Abbey Tour
Explore the history of the monastery, the Abbey Church, the cloister, and the renowned Verdun Altar.

Winter season: Daily at 11:00 AM
Summer season: Monday to Friday at 10:00 AM and 4:45 PM, Saturday, Sunday, and public holidays at 10:00 AM, 1:00 PM, and 4:45 PM

Grand Tour
Includes all highlights of the Abbey Tour plus the Imperial Rooms and the Marble Hall.
