Awesome small group. Really nice to take train. Great balance of guided information and suggestions and providing free time. Teenagers and adults loved it. Don’t skip the cheese tasting! Our guide was fantastic. Easy to follow meet up instructions and incredible with kids and adults. He made sure we saw all the best parts but was not overwhelming with info. He even bought us treats!! 10/10. Thank you Marcelo!!

The guide Monica was excellent. Unfortunately it was raining and very foggy limiting the view and therefore the full enjoyment of experience. Monica did her very best to compensate.

Excellent trip. Marcelo was a great guide. He would touch on main/ important details and let us have our own free time as well. Prompt and punctual. Had a good command in English. Finally the place- Montserrat should be a must see for all who are in Barcelona if you have atleast half day to spare. Do not miss it. The main train to Aeri De Montserrat followed by the Cable car ride- 7 mins( Yellow winch) from Aeri to Montserrat town with the monastery is an awesome trip. The views once you reach there are spectacular..The clouds are almost so close to you. While you are there..do a hike to the peak with a cross..20 mins up..12 mins down. There is additional Funicular in the town ( Sant Joan Funicular - not included in original price for trip) which will take you up further to the peaks.. The return was in the Cogwheel train ( Cremallera Funicular) to Monistral de Montserrat which was a cool ride down the mountain to the base station and then back to Barca at Placa Espanya Do not miss!!

Marcelo was a wonderful tour guide. He was friendly and gave us a nice introduction of Montserrat and what to expect as we rode the train from the city to the mountain. We selected this tour because it allowed us to take both the cable car and the cogwheel train up and down the mountain respectively. There was enough free time at the top to take a short hike as well.

A great trip! Our guide Marcelo was fantastic— knowledgeable, caring and kind, and gave enough (but not too much) information. The train ride out to Montserrat was great. Once there we took the cable car up, and toured around. We went inside the church and had time to walk out to the cross on the mountain as well as grab a bite to eat. The train ride down the mountain was scenic and we all crashed on the ride back into Barcelona. Marcelo then helped us learn to navigate the local train system and pointed us in the right direction towards our hotel.

If we can give Marcelo a 10 stars, we would. We have had so many different local tours in many different countries and cities. Marcelo is the best one that we ever have. He was communicative from days before. He was punctual. He gave us lots of background info. Guided us all the way and made sure none of us was lost. He even bought us little snacks along the way. He did an outstanding job!

Our guide was very friendly and made alot of effort to make sure the entire group was comfortable. He took care of everything for us. I went to Montserratt with nothing much to expect, but left with alot of wonderful memories. Definitely a tour I’d recommend to friends!
