Activity itinerary

Palazzo Maria Callas (Pass by)
Among the antique trees of via Catullo, in the heart of the peninsula of Sirmione, you can spot a beautiful yellow villa that belonged to Maria Callas, the first star of the opera world. She spent plenty of time in the 50’s in the Sirmione villa of her husband, the wealthy businessman Giovan Battista Meneghini. Our skipper will explain this and other stories of the villa and his owners.
Rocca di Manerba del Garda (Pass by)
On the western side of the lake, you'll see the ruins of Rocca di Manerba, an enchanting fortress surrounded by a natural reserve.
Grotte di Catullo (Pass by)
You will see the archaeological park from outside. Situated within a vast oliveto-grove, are the remains of a large Roman villa, known for centuries as “grotte di Catullo”, at the extreme tip of Sirmione peninsula, is the most important example of a high-class residence in the whole of northern Italy.
Salo
  • 1h
Surrounded by the view, you'll be able to indulge in a dip before setting off again towards Salò, where you'll visit the historic centre on foot during the one-hour stop.
Gardone Riviera
  • 10m
The tour continues to Gardone, where you'll toast with a glass of Prosecco and starters. You'll see the San Marco Tower and returning to Sirmione, on its eastern shore you'll catch a glimpse of the Boiola sulphur spring.
Castello Scaligero (Pass by)
Before concluding the trip by entering the walls of the Scaliger Castle you will finally pass under the drawbridge, the only pedestrian access to the peninsula.
