After having breakfast at the hotel, you and your guide will embark on a drive across the plains to Mt Popa, which is believed to be the house of 37 nats, Burmese ancient animist spirits, a place of great importance to the Burmese. Situated on a volcanic plug, Taung Kalat, the shrine is accessible after you walk up the almost 900 stairs to the top. Along the way, you can pass by many shrines as well as meet many local pilgrims. This is a great chance for you to know more about nats and nat worship. All your effort will be equally rewarded at the top with incredible views over the Myingyan Plain.
After returning to the base of the shrine, you will begin the drive going back to Bagan. After driving for around 20-30 minutes, the driver will make a stop at Shwe Hlaing Village, where locals mainly make their living by producing plenty of items from the toddy palm trees. Here, you can have an opportunity to witness the traditional production of palm toddy, from the collecting of the liquid to the creation of sugar and drinks.

Finally, you will be transferred back to Bagan.
