Drogarati Cave
  • 25m
  • Admission ticket not included
Kefalonia's Drogarati Cave was found 300 years ago and opened to the public in 1963. It was discovered after a big earthquake caused the cave's entrance to collapse. Drogarati is a spectacular cave with amazing stalactite and stalagmite structures. This cave, according to speleologists, is roughly 150 million years old and represents a remarkable geological phenomena. The cave is roughly 60 metres deep and maintains a constant temperature of 18 degrees Celsius. The cave's humidity is high. This is a great opportunity to take beautiful photographs, that you will treasure forever!
Melissani Cave
  • 35m
  • Admission ticket not included
Beautiful and fascinating, Melissani Lake is one of the most stunning highlights of Kefalonia. In the Lake Melissani, you buy the ticket (not included in the price). By boat you will be taken around the lake to the closed part of the cave (approx 30 minutes), passing the islet where the excavations had taken place. At the walls, there are Stalactites and flowstones with bizarre shaping, some with a resemblance to dolphins, as the boatman will point out, dolphins play a role in mythology. The lake of Melissani has not yet revealed all its secrets. The water is brackish as many springs supply the lake cave. One of them is the source "Katavothres" which is located on the other side of the island near Argostoli. Part of the cave’s roof collapsed a few thousand years ago due to an earthquake. The daylight falls through this opening, showing the colour of the lake in its deep blue sea
Karavomilos Lake (Pass by)
Just outside of Sami, in the direction of Agia Efimia, is Karavomilos. A small, charming fishing village with a long, narrow shingle beach and stunning views of Ithaca. Beautiful Karavomilos is named after a tiny circular lake near the local water mill. The region is surrounded by rich foliage, which attracts a variety of wildlife such as ducks, swans, and herons. The lake is part of phenomenon of the underground flow of fresh water from Katavothres near Argostoli to the Melissani Lake.
Agia Efimia (Pass by)
Agia Efimia is a beautiful scenic beach/traditional 31.5 kilometres north east of Argostoli (Kefalonia's capital). It is incredibly peaceful, and has lots pretty tavernas and shops. It is located around the natural bay and has a modest and charming harbour where fishing and excursion boats dock.
Divarata (Pass by)
We can arrange a short photo stop above Myrtos beach, one of the most beautiful and most photographed beaches in Europe. Then we have a quick refreshment break. Divarata is small village above Myrtos beach. We stop to buy souvenirs and get some chilled refreshments.
Myrtos Beach
  • 48m
Myrtos beach/Kefalonia - This is a great opprortunity to have a lovely swim, or have a nice relaxing drink at the pretty beach bar. We provide sun umbrellas and beach mats. Myrtos is without a doubt one of Kefalonia's most beautiful tourist destinations. It is north of Argostoli, in a stunning location. Surrounded by enormous green hills. Myrtos Beach has an international reputation and is consistently listed among the greatest beaches in Greece (it has featured in the worlds tourist magazines many times). It has received numerous awards for its cleanliness and natural beauty.
Myrtos Beach
  • 10m
We drive above Myrtos beach, at the world famous photo shoot point. This is an excellent opportunity to create special memories. The drone will create unforgettable photos!
KOUTAVOS LAGOON ARGOSTOLI (Pass by)
The Koutavos Lagoon is an excellent nature reserve for wildlife, including the Caretta Caretta turtle and other birdlife. It is located near the head of Argostoli Bay. The town's greatest park is a shady forest of eucalyptus and pine trees that may be reached by walking or cycling along the wide trail that round the lagoon from the harbour front. Until the Drepano Bridge was built in 1813 to ease access to Argostoli from the settlements across the bay, the lagoon was an almost impassable bog filled with mosquitoes and malaria. A small islet in the lagoon's centre is off-limits to visitors because it serves as a nesting and feeding area for waterfowl. The Koutavos Lagoon is located near the mouth of the Argostoli Bay.
