Loved the penguins. When booking the description said children under 3 not permitted. This is infact not true. That was dissapointing as we had to find a sitter.

Shouldn’t allow bus groups to arrive late and then let them crowd in front of those people that have been waiting patiently for nearly 2 hrs

We went without a guide. However the experience to see those tiny creatures was exceptional, we weren't aware which better sittings would enhance the experience as we were sitting in the middle instead of the corner. We liked the information shared with us for wildlife conservation.

There were a lot of visitors as expected and overall people did out their phones away as requested by the guides but there will always be the annoying few who have FOMO and use theor phones to take videos and photos, spoiling the experience for others sitting near them. I could barely see the penguins as they came ashore, but managed to see some in their burrows ok the walk back to the main hall. I enjoyed the experience as I knew that my purchasing a ticket would go towards supporting the sanctuary and its inhabitants.

It was very cold wind ( not your fault) and we where not prepared with better cloths. The pinguins where not many and quite shy. But we saw them. It was disturbing that people ran on the ground in the front of us and made to much noise. Bad behaving but not the guide’s fault. She did what she could!
