What you can expect

Pisa is well known as a city of art, but not everyone knows that, not far from the centre, it is possible to spend a day at the beach.

Along the new cycle path “Trammino” you can discover the seaside of Marina di Pisa. This is a perfect tour for families and for those who want to ride safely and quietly, between the countryside, the pine forest and the sea.

This route offers amazing landscapes, such as the Mouth of the Arno (Bocca d’Arno), characterised by the presence of “scales” and “retoni” (large fishing nets placed on wooden constructions similar to stilts) and the characteristic tourist harbour.

Along the coast don't miss to stop to take a swim, taste good fried seafood or take an excellent ice cream.
