Overview

There are some places in New Zealand that you just have to see. Not on tourist track.. Pickup, thru Viaduct Harbour area and around Westhaven Marina, across the Harbour Bridge to Takapuna and its beach/restaurant area. Then to Orewa for more golden-sand beaches. Past Hatfields Beach.. See coastal views from Waiwera Hill (a great photo spot) onto Warkworth, a charming riverside village.

Then to Matakana. See the famous Morris & James Pottery.. This is wine country for 5 star tasting and light lunch. Then to a place where we all want to live, Mathesons Bay. On to Leigh Harbour a magnificently picturesque place. To the top of Pakiri Hill for views of Northern beaches and south…Back to Matakana (shops, restaurants, and the Saturday market).

Then to Brick Bay Hill for more stellar viewing. If time permits, the Royal New Zealand Yacht Squadron (current home of the Americas Cup)
And it goes on and on, New Zealand at its best. A unique tour not to be missed.
