An opportunity to not only enjoy the beauty and breathtaking untouched mountains scenaries and waterfalls but also meet the Friendly local Fijian people in their own authentic remote villages and learn about their traditional way of living and our structured respected culture which is still in tact in all traditonal Fijian villages in Fiji. Conclude with Special Fijian Traditional Underground cooking we call it LOVO.In NZ the Maori called it HANGI. Lovo menu will be basically tipical Fijian root crops Taro or Tapioka, Fish and a whole Chicken and my favourite Taro leaves rapped with thick coconut milk or cream just for us. Isn't that special. The whole day is all authentic experience.

Drive Past the Second Biggest Shipping Port, Biggest Sugar Mill and the Popular Fiji Bounty Rum Distilleries in Lautoka City the second Biggest City also known as the Sugar City.
Viseisei (Pass by)
Drive past Viseisei Village our Chiefly Village and also holds written history of where our first ancestors first arrive in their double hollow canoe 3500 years ago

This was such a cool, authentic experience. The guide was absolutely amazing, and so knowledgeable. I would encourage you to bring a change of clothes and dry shoes. It was such an authentic experience eating real Fijian food, in one of the villagers homes. We felt like a guest, not a tourist. Would definitely recommend and book again.

An amazing day hiking with Peni. Explored the waterfall at Koroyanitu at our own pace. Learned about Fijian culture both in the past and present-day. Great views, and all topped off with a delicious lunch prepared at the local village. A must-do for your Fijian holiday! Peni has other options available too.

Peni is an incredible guide - I learned so much about Fijian culture and history, flora and fauna, and all round had an amazing time. This is the perfect outing if you're keen for some activity, but not have it be the full basis of the day. I cannot recommend him enough, I'm only sorry I booked through Viator and not directly through him. He'll tailor tours to suit your specific needs and wants if you like!

An amazing experience from start to finish. The walk to the waterfall was spectacular, as was the waterfall itself. The tiny village where the trek started and ended was truly authentic and the villagers were so welcoming. The day would not have been as enjoyable without our exceptional guide, Peni. What a knowledgeable and lovely man! He told us stories all day about the geography and history of the area, and he and my husband had a great chat about the rugby league! A truly lovely man who clearly loves his country and his people. We would highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to experience abit of the Fiji that sits outside of the resort boundaries.
