Activity itinerary

Palace of Parliament
  • 15m
By far the most imposing and well-known tourist attraction in Bucharest is the Palace of the Parliament or as Nicolae Ceausescu called it, the People's Palace. Located high on Arsenal Hill, the current Palace of the Parliament is certified as the second administrative building in the world after the Pentagon. The building described in numbers and statistics is astonishing: 270 metres long, 245 metres wide, 86 metres high, 92 metres deep (below ground level), 1,000,000 cubic metres of Ruschita marble, 700 architects, and the numbers don't stop there. ! Visiting is only possible with a reservation made 24-48 hours in advance, and the visitor is required to have an identity card or passport on him (not a driving licence or insurance card). The standard tour lasts approximately 1 hour.
