Due to a future tour, we had to cancel our original tour and selected this one. Definitely was a smart move on our part and “Wow”! Robert was our driver and arrived, early and ready to rock! He was dressed to the 9’s and we received an upgraded vehicle, which was immaculate and a very nice ride! Robert, though essentially there to drive us, was a very good communicator and shared insight and information about the gardens as well as the Netherlands. He was bright, friendly and had some interesting insight which we appreciated. Upon arrival, he walked us to the gardens, collected a map for us and informed us of his location once we completed our time in the gardens. If I stated the words; “Oh My God!” it would have not scratched the surface of what we saw inside the gardens. Everything was in full bloom and many of the flowers were to be harvested shortly after we viewed them! With over 800 different varieties of tulips your will lose your mind (if you appreciate colors) as you pass from collection to collection, looking at the ground for the different types and arrangements, to looking up and admiring the cherry/apple trees that were in full bloom! I am now reviewing my photos and I have over 850 to go through……… Once we were finished, we communicated with Robert via whats app and he was at the vehicle as he stated he would be and promptly returned us to the hotel. Definitely a once in a life time experience and we cannot wait to resee all the photos of what we saw (though the pictures do not compare to the living the experience). Cannot recommend Robert this this tour enough!

Tour was advertised as a visit to tulip field and skip the line to Keukenhof Gardens sightseeing tour to Amsterdam in a Mercedes with wifi access. Instead it was a driver in a Tesla (not a guide for sightseeing) straight to the gardens and back with no skip the line access. We paid over 500 euros for a decent taxi ride. Had to wait in line and spend another approx 80 euros to buy tickets and wait in line again to get inside. No tulip field visit and no sightseeing or conversation on the way. When the driver called the tour operator the driver was yelled at by the tour operator. Driver told us he had just been hired to drive us there and back nothing more. Driver was nice but had no control over the situation and wasn’t a sightseeing person. Worst experience ever and a bait and switch and a waste of money. I have lodged a complaint with Viator and am waiting to see if I get at partial refund as all we got was a taxi ride

The private tour is the only way to see Keukenhof. The crowds are enormous, but our driver/guide Terry made the trip so pleasant. We cannot recommend him more highly. He is the absolute pro, who made the trip so much more enjoyable. As for the tulips, hyacinths, frites, petting zoo, and everything else, Keukenhof is a bucket list item to definitely check off. Just magical (even in the rain)!

Our driver Clyde was professional safe and knowledgeable. Unfortunately, our downloaded tickets did not work so we needed to go to a shed in the parking lot where we needed to obtain working and valid tickets. The “agent” could not understand why our tickets did not work, and really had an attitude- don’t bother me. The tickets worked and we had a great self guided tour of the gardens. Private tour really means a private diver and car to the gardens and not private tour. Bottom line we could have gotten to and from Amsterdam and into the gardens much cheaper for our self guided tor.
