Overview

The tour starts with a meeting at the port of Kotor or the main gate of the old town of Kotor. Sightseeing begins with visiting Perast – a beautiful baroque coastal town. Our first stop at an observation deck with a panoramic view to take photographs of Perast and small picturesque islands Our Lady of the Rock and St. George.

We continue the tour with a boat ride to the island of Our Lady of the Rock. When this visit is over, you go on a short walk around the town, you have some free time to visit the Town Museum, chapels, churches, and luxurious mansions.

We return to Kotor and go to Dub, where we start the cable car ride. During the cable car ride, you will have the chance to enjoy amazing views of Kotor, and the whole bay. You will go from 65m to 1350m above sea level in only 11 minutes. When we arrive at the top, you will have some free time to enjoy the views.

After the cable car, we will take you back to Kotor Old Town so you can enjoy the charms of the town on your own!

Activity itinerary

Perast
  • 1h
Perast is one of the best-preserved towns on the entire Adriatic coast. It forms part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site Natural and Culturo-Historical Region of Kotor. Venetian-era palaces, squares, and churches are beautifully preserved as reminders of Perat’s golden age as a trading port and maritime training centre.
Our Lady of the Rocks
  • 30m
  • Admission ticket not included
Our Lady of the Rocks is one of the two islets off the coast of Perast in the Bay of Kotor, Montenegro (the other being Sveti Đorđe island). It is an artificial island created by a bulwark of rocks and by sinking old and seized ships loaded with rocks. The Catholic Church of Our Lady of the Rocks is the largest building on the islet and has a museum attached to it. There is also a small gift shop close to the church and a navigation light at the western end of the islet.

The old town – that is the most famous part of Kotor, where the Kotor history, culture, and tradition are being preserved. The old town of Kotor has a great number of monuments of medieval architecture: churches, cathedrals, palaces, and museums. Its beauty is complemented by the multitude of narrow streets, squares, and markets. The old town of Kotor stands out also by the great number of stylishly made gates, palaces of wealthy families, and a great number of stairs. The old nucleus of Kotor today is considered to be the best preserved medieval urban entity in the Mediterranean. The largest and the most impressive are, by all means, city bulwarks which surround the town.
