Overview

You will be picked up from your hotel or the Port of Saranda with an air-conditioned vehicle. During the day you will visit Ksamil, The Blue Eye and Lekursi Castle. A beautiful visit to the natural spring of Blue Eye, a hidden place between the mountains where you can enjoy a magnificent view of transparent water. Even during summer the temperature of the water remains always 8-12 C. You can enjoy a nice coffee surrounded just by nature, the sound of the water and the feeling of being in a magical place.

On the way back to the city, a short visit to Ksamil and Lekursi Castle a 360o view of all the region around, where your eyes can enjoy a magnificent sight-seen of a big island ( Corfu), a city ( Saranda), a lake ( Butrinti Lake), high mountains, new and old constructions, churches and mosques, a river ( Bitrica River). Lekursi Castle ( Kalaja e Lëkurësit) was built in the early 16th century by Sultan Suleymani and is located on the top of a hill in Lëkurës looking directly over Sarande. It’s located about 3-4km away from the centre of Saranda. The castle was initially built to protect the city of Saranda from invaders accessing the coastline by boat. From the castle, you'll have great views of Corfu and Ksamil islands.
