What you can expect

Discover the hidden world beneath Lake Wakatipu with the Time Tripper experience. This 14-minute animated show takes you back 90 million years, showcasing Queenstown's evolution from the age of dinosaurs to the present day.

Guided by a time-travel pilot, you'll explore the formation of New Zealand and the creation of the Southern Alps, all narrated by renowned New Zealand actor Temuera Morrison.

After the immersive show, enjoy 10-15 minutes of underwater viewing. Witness the famous diving ducks, eels, and trout that inhabit the lake. This unique 30-minute activity is Queenstown’s only underwater experience, departing every half hour from the Main Town Pier.

Quirky and great fun! Interesting learning about the history of the area in a 'time machine'! Loved the diving ducks. If you like something a bit different give it a go!

I thought it would be more of a 3D theatre experience but it was just a movie played on the screen. A cool concept and it would be heaps better if it had more 3D effects. Cost should be more like $5 for adults and kids 5 and under free.
