Know before you book

  • Participants from 16-55 yrs of age are eligible to ride the ATVs. Participants 6 years & older up to 15 years must be accompanied by an adult for the quad bike ride. A child 5 years & younger strictly cannot be on the ATVs.
  • This self-riding activity is NOT INSURED & any accidents or damages from the activity will be the sole responsibility of the rider & passenger.
  • The participant MUST pay the amount for any damages due to the usage of buggy/ATVs.
  • The participant is responsible for any injury he/she has inflicted on him/herself or on others from the usage of buggy/ATVs.
  • This tour is not accessible by wheel chair. Pregnant women and anyone with back or neck pain, heart problems or other serious medical complaints are not allowed to participate.
  • Pickup will be within 45 minutes from your selected departure time. Please be ready at the hotel lobby on time. Complimentary pickup is available from Dubai, Sharjah hotels, apartments, and cruise terminal Dubai
  • Other religious holidays as per UAE law there will not be any entertainment activities in the camps as its strictly not permitted by UAE law
  • Pickup time will be during Summer (May - Sep) between 2:45 pm - 3:30pm & Winter (Oct - April) between 1:50 pm - 2:40pm Please be ready at the hotel lobby on time.

What you can expect

You will be picked up from your hotel or any other preferred location in Dubai. Travel in the comfort of an air-conditioned vehicle to the long stretched desert terrain. Upon reaching the desert, be welcomed into an air-conditioned tent with refreshments (Arabic tea/coffee with dates) and time to relax.

Start to engage this tour with quad biking. Before this exhilarating off-road experience, listen carefully to your instructor about the safety briefing. Thereafter, wear the provided protective gear and start to enjoy this off-road experience. Accelerate your bike and drive over the smooth and silky sandbanks. Feel the rapid heartbeat as you passionately conquer the bumpy dune. Continue this thrill-seeking ride for the next 60 minutes. During this time, do not forget to capture amazing pictures with the desert background.

Now, it's time to experience more fun with sandboarding. Strap yourself on a wooden board and slide down the dunes as per the guideline of the Safari Captain. Next, get ready to witness the authentic Bedouin culture. Move to the desert camp, Al Khayma with your Safari Captain. Upon arrival at the camp, be welcomed with Arabic coffee/tea ( Gahwa), Gaymat ( sweets) and dates.

Followed by this, you will be soon invited to experience a short camel ride near the camp surroundings. Hop on a camel and experience the ride and this will lead you to the sunset watching spot in the desert. Enjoy the brilliant colours of the sunset in the desert and then get back to the camp.

More activities await you at the campsite. Start with henna tattoos and sit back to relax as you indulge in shisha smoking. Try Arab attire and pose with a Falcon for clicking amazing pictures. Then, watch the Arabian entertainment shows on stage as you have your delectable BBQ meal. After enjoying the luscious Arab cuisine, relax and watch Fire show on the camp stage.

Finally, the campsite will be set up to enjoy the authentic feel of the desert night by turning off all the lights. Delve into the calmness of the desert as you gaze at the starlit sky.

In the end, you will be taken back to your hotel or selected location in Dubai.

I booked this for my sister and her son. There was a little misshap at the beginning,but as soon as they were notified, they took care of the issue and went above and beyond. I highly recommend this company to anyone going to Dubai,they really delivered and there was no hidden fees.The guides were amazing, kind,and very patient. I also booked a tour to Abu Dhabi,with them.Will update on that.Thank you OceanAir Travel for providing an unforgettable moment to my loved ones.

Ocean air travels and the tour guide, Asifashraf is very acknowledgeable and well organized. At first, both of the travel agent and the tour guide gave us heads up about the schedule but we screwed up with the time because we had jet lag. He had the hotel’s receptionist calling us down and waited for us. He explained everything in details and making sure we understand the whole process because riding the ATV needs some skills and caution. Along the whole tour, he took good care of us. I highly recommend it and thanks again Asiifashraf!

The Red Dunes Quad Bike tour and Dinner were pretty cool and fun, especially the dinner part; it was a charming setting, relaxing, and well organized with great food and performance. A big kudo to our tour guide, SHAN, who was very thorough with all the details, on time, knowledgeable about Dubai, and shared lots of fun facts. I look forward to doing this adventure again next time I return to Dubai.

What an amazing experience! If I was told to fly to Dubai, do 1 thing, then fly home, it will definitely be this! I went with my wife and we had a blast! Everything from the quads, food, tea, henna, camel rides…was incredible. I feel what made this experience extra special was our guide Ahmed! If we ever do this again, I will request him.. if he is not available, I will wait for him! Ahmed, if you are reading this I want to say thank you my friend. The way you treated us like family. I enjoyed our conversation there and back. Lets see if it snows next year so we can go on the snow mobiles 😂 Definitely recommend! You will have an amazing time!

Decent experience, though what you think you’re booking on Expedia is different from the experience you get e.g. booking quad bikes for two please ends up being one quadbike at the venue, or the camel ride which is a token 2 minutes along one side of the camp. But, the people are nice, the food and entertainment are excellent and the overall experience is good.
