Ready to embark on an incredible scuba adventure with the SSI Open Water Certification? If you've always dreamed of exploring the wonders beneath the waves, this is where your underwater journey begins.

The SSI Open Water Diver course is a globally celebrated scuba programme, introducing countless individuals to the exhilarating world of diving.

What You'll Discover:

The SSI Open Water Diver course encompasses three essential phases:

Knowledge Development (available online or in a classroom) to grasp the fundamental principles of scuba diving.
Confined Water Dives to master basic scuba skills.
Open Water Dives to fine-tune your skills and explore the underwater world.

Prerequisites:

To enrol in the SSI Open Water Diver course, you must be at least 10 years old.

The Thrilling Part:

The best thing about this course is… well, almost everything because learning to dive is nothing short of incredible. You'll get to experience the sheer excitement of breathing underwater for the first time, an unforgettable moment, and acquire the knowledge needed to become a certified diver. Throughout the course, you'll complete a minimum of five confined water dives and explore four dive sites in your local area, all under the expert guidance of your SSI Instructor.

Scuba Gear You'll Get Comfortable With:

In the SSI Open Water Diver course, you'll become familiar with essential scuba gear, including a dive computer and standard accessories.

Learning Materials:

With SSI's eLearning materials, you have the flexibility to study from any location.

SSI's Open Water Diver materials cover vital scuba diving skills, terminology, and safety procedures. For each concept, you'll read a clear description and watch a video demonstration.

After that, you'll practice these skills in a pool or pool-like environment with your instructor. As a certified diver, you can keep the course materials as a handy reference guide for your future diving adventures and for refreshing your knowledge.
