Leaving early from your accommodation in Puerto Varas we head directly to the foothills of the imposing Osorno Volcano, with a height of 2,642 metres above sea level. We will arrive at the CONAF office to prepare and begin our ascent to 1,200 metres above sea level. We will walk at least 3 hours until we reach the point where we will fully equip ourselves and hold an informative technical talk to start our journey to the Seracs del Glaciar. After 1 hour more approx., Upon arrival we will be able to rest and observe these imposing blocks of ice, we will listen to the underground cracks and possibly we will be able to see glacier detachments. After having enjoyed this beautiful panoramic view, we will return following the same route of the crossing until we reach the point where we can un-equip ourselves and begin our descent until we reach the transport that will take us back to the city of Puerto Varas. IMPORTANT: Each participant must wear a mask, gloves if desired and their own food.
