What you can expect

Begin with an early pickup from your hotel at 4.30 AM in an air-conditioned vehicle, and travel to the main entrance of the Angkor Wat to admire the stunning sunrise over this ancient and mysterious complex.

Next, visit the South Gate of Angkor Thom to marvel at the Bayon and Baphoun temples with their 54 towers and 216 faces of Buddhisatva Avalokesvara. Listen as your guide explains historical facts about the Temples and the Khmer empire.
After lunch, see the Terrace of the Elephant and the Terrace of the Leper King known as the royal viewing platform and the stage of the king’s great audience hall. Enter Ta Prohm Temple and view the lush trees surrounding the temple’s stones.

Finally, go to Banteay Kdei temple which was built by the King Jayavarman VII in the late of 12th century before returning to your hotel in Siem Reap.

It wasn't necessary to arrive at Angkor Wat an hour before sunrise. I started looking for a good spot for sunrise photos 10 minutes before sunrise. Not enough time allocated at Ta Prohm. If I were going to do it again, I would visit Angkor Wat and other temples without joining a tour

So glad we chose this trip. Mr T was the perfect guide, informative about not only about the history of the temples and the religions but also about the history of the country and life in Cambodia. We learnt so much but Mr T was also very fun and entertaining to listen to. He had us laughing all the way round. There was cold water and towels at every stage and Mr T took our photos and showed us good spots for photos. The tour also avoided the crowds. I would highly recommend this tour and especially Mr T.

An absolutely incredible tour! Mr T (Vuthy) knew so much history, answered all questions and made sure we saw as much as possible of each temple, and showed us all the best spots for photos and noticing details. He had great energy and kept everyone entertained with his jokes throughout the day - would highly recommend booking a tour with him! A great option for a first time visit to Angkor Wat!

Very efficient friendly service. Chilled Water handed out at every stop. Noy and Therm were outstanding with great knowledge of the history of Angkor Wat and the other Temples. Wonderful trip with our guide Noy! He was super-knowledgeable and could answer any question. Our driver Michael was a safe and good driver, ready with cold water after every stop. Very hot day and was sweaty after the trip, so I recommend to bring a fan and sunscreen. Bring your own lunch if you do not want to eat at the restaurant we stop at for lunch. Saw all the highlights and would overall definitely recommend both Noy, Michael and the tour!!

Brilliant trip with Guide Sen and Driver James Bond! Very friendly team and provided the small group with plenty of information, but kept the balance of time at each temple right. Would recommend this trip to see Angkor Wat and some of the surrounding temples. Thank you :)
