Sasaran Beach is located 1.74 nautical miles off the coast of the fishing village of Jeram, Selangor, in the middle of the Straits of Malacca Sea. When the tide is just right, the sand bar emerges, Malaysia’s own Salar de Uyuni.
Sasaran Beach is better known as Mirror in the Sky as the shallow waters of this “Secret Island” reflects the sky, creating a unique photography and selfie opportunity for all. The island is also a habitat for marine agriculture. The most common animals you can see are the sea and baby clam scattered abundantly in the sand.
Sekinchan Paddy Field is the main producer of rice in Malaysia, where you can also get to learn more about rice farming. Before departing, drop by the Paddy Gallery and Redang Nan Tian Temple to enjoy the breathtaking view of the rice fields.
