Discover Cook Island Marine Reserve: Your Ultimate Snorkelling Adventure! A short boat trip from the Gold Coast, Cook Island offers an accessible and captivating snorkelling experience. This vibrant Marine Reserve is home to a permanent resident of sea turtle, and a colourful pelagic fish, including pufferfish, gropers, surgeonfish, anemonefish, leatherjackets, parrotfish, trevally, bullseyes, and sweetlips. During summer, you might also spot leopard sharks among the stunning nudibranchs, stingrays, turtles, and manta rays. Adventure Features: Turtle sighting is guaranteed. The snorkelling is guided by one of our Snorkelling Guides. All equipment supplied: Mask, Snorkel, Fins, and Wetsuit. Departs by private bus from Gold Coast Dive Centre, Miami, QLD. Boat Launching at the Public Jetty, 1A Minjungbal Dr, Tweed Heads South, NSW. Please note Snorkelling at Cook Island is an open ocean experience, please advise if you have no previous snorkelling experience. Seasickness If you suffer from motion sickness, take remedies such as Travacalm or Kwells 30 minutes before boarding. For extra precaution, take them the night before. Ginger remedies are not effective.
