You will be picked up from one of the listed pick up points near to your accommodation in the South of Tenerife and taken up to a viewpoint to watch the sunset over the islands of La Palma La Gomera and El Hierro. Celebrate this unique experience with the sun shining through a glass of Cava (Spanish sparkling wine) we provide! After sunset, we will transfer to another viewpoint in the Teide National Park for stargazing. To enjoy the details of the visible objects, we use a 12" Dobsonian telescope. Depending on the time of the year, you will see: ✩ the Moon, which will be our main focus the days before full moon ✩ beautiful galaxies, nebulae and star clusters such as the Pleiades, also known as the Seven Sisters in the constellation of Taurus (in winter). We use laser pointers to show you and explain the names and the constellations, how to find Polaris, the North Star, how to find the Andromeda galaxy and learn some Greek mythology.   We will take photos of the guests individually using astrophotography techniques that show the blanket of stars above you.
