  • Tour + Main Meal & Drink: Redeem your ticket stub at either of our harbourside dining venues on day of your tour booking. Includes main meal and a drink from a selection.
  • One Hour Tour including Tour & Dine please check in at the Welcome Centre on the lower concourse level ten minutes prior to your tour time

Your tour of the Sydney Opera House allows you to step beneath the sails of one of the world’s most iconic performance venues, where more than 1,800 concerts, plays, musicals and ballets are staged every year. Explore it with an insider guide, who shares stories and fun facts about the opera house’s history, performances and architecture throughout your 1-hour tour. Walk through the elegant foyers, visit one of the largest pillar-free chambers in the world, sit down in a custom-made white birch chair and look up at the vaulted ceiling. Check out areas that are off-limits to the general public, learn about the distinctive exterior design made up of ‘shell’ tiles, and hear about opera house’s Danish architect, including his inspiration and building challenges.

Thoroughly enjoyable and informative. Guide very pleasant and knowledgeable opprtunities to take pictures and ask questions. Good pace but not hurried. Lots of stairs - but there are separate tours for those with mobility issues. Radio microphones and headsets excellent. Great video explaining history of the building. 10% off the cost of a guide book with the ticket - so don't lose it! All together a very pleasant and valuable hour.

The guide was a part of the opera House Guided tours. But tickets were less expensive through Viator. Except tour guide. Highly recommend.

Very well organised, excellent guide, head phones supplied so no need to keep up with the guide. Lots to see in the different areas of the opera house. History of the build also very interesting.

The walking tour of the Sydney Opera House was well organized and operated smoothly. There were some restrictions but all is all they were acceptable. It was informative and well presented providing a balanced picture of the Opera House. Highly recommended.

A great tour. Peter was a very knowledgeable and informative tour guide. A highlight was getting to see the Sydney Symphony Orchestra rehearsing in the Concert Hall.

If you are in Sydney…you must do this tour. Our guide Connor, was the best! He was very entertaining and kept everyone engages. As well, he made sure that everyone was able to navigate the steps and keep the tour at an easy pace.

Incredible insight into this iconic place. Wonderfully guided by Arlo and we lucked out to see both the Orchestra and an opera being practiced. Highly highly recommend this one of the highlights of our trip to Sydney
