Overview

At Musa, we find exhibitions, an orchid and bromeliad nursery, ponds, aquariums and experimental laboratories for snakes, insects and butterflies. A tower with 242 steps allows you to enjoy a magnificent view of the treetops, unforgettable when seen at six in the morning. Forest trails provide visitors with pleasant walks and incredible discoveries. At Musa, research is carried out on the dissemination and popularisation of science and scientific and cultural education. Home of culture and science, of coexistence and celebration of the diversity of being in the world, come and live this beautiful experience never experienced.

IT IS MANDATORY TO USE CLOSED SHOES ⚠️ We want to inform travellers that our summer begins in August until the beginning of November, while winter begins at the end of November and lasts until the end of July, so travellers don't forget to bring sun cream and a raincoat.

Ideal for those who want to go on tours in Manaus, MUSA was created in January 2009, Musa occupies 100 hectares of the Adolpho Ducke Forest Reserve, of the National Institute for Amazonian Research – INPA, in Manaus. An area of native terrestrial forest that has been passionately studied for over 60 years. The results of these researches, gathered in catalogues on topics such as plants, birds and frogs, tell what Musa wants to show the visitor.
